Cue The Champagne: Chattanooga Brunch Weddings : To Brunch or Not to Brunch ? Part One
By Associate Wedding Coordinator Cora Lesar
Whether you and your fiancé are early birds or just love breakfast foods, a brunch wedding is a trendy, fun and cost-effective way to celebrate tying the knot. With so many food, drink and décor options, it’s hard to go wrong when you combine peoples’ favorite things: brunch and weddings. However, there are some things to consider when planning such a scrumptious affair.
- It will be an early day
Consider the amount of day-of-wedding prep there will be! Hair, makeup, set-up and little details will take several hours to put together regardless of when your ceremony will start. Check with your vendors before booking to get an estimate on the timing for set-up and see if they have experience with morning weddings. You and your bridesmaids will be on a tight schedule while your hairdresser and makeup artist help you get ready but it will be worth it when you have a mimosa in your hand.
- Consider your guest list
Before committing to your morning wedding, consider your guest list. If you have a lot of out-of-town guests or even guests that tend to work weekends, a Sunday morning may not be feasible with their work schedules. You know your crowd, so before settling on a dreamy morning wedding, consider their schedules or at least be prepared to receive some regrets.
