Q. When and why did you start The Copper Quail?
Lisa has always had a love for all things vintage, so growing up me and my siblings were often being dragged in and out of antique stores. But in the end I inherited that same love of vintage treasures! Fast forward to when me and a couple of my sisters were getting married over the span of a few years, and each of us pulled tons of fun vintage decor and furniture items from Lisa’s house to bring our wedding visions to life. It occurred to me sometime later that not everyone has a mother with a treasure trove of vintage goodies – so the idea of a vintage rental company was born! We’ve grown so much since then, and now our “why” is summed up in our mission statement: celebrating meaningful moments by creating beautiful spaces. We do this through the large collection of vintage & specialty rentals we offer, but also now through the wedding design and styling services we’ve branched into over the years.
Q. What is your favorite part of a wedding day?
It is always rewarding after spending several hours styling all the big and small wedding details to have the bride take a break from getting ready to see the finished product! To see each bride get excited to see their wedding vision come to life is always special.
Q. What does the “ideal client” look like to you?
One of the things we love about our business is that our services vary enough that we get to work with a wide variety of clients that have ranging styles and ranging budgets. Whether you just need to pick and choose the perfect rentals to complete your vision, or you want our team of stylists to help pull off your vision on the day of your wedding, or you want our team of wedding designers to work with you to create a one of a kind event from top to bottom – we do it all! Regardless of which service they choose, we love working with clients that get as excited about all the little décor details as we do.
