September 20, 2025, was a day to remember high above the clouds at McLemore Resort, where Lisa and Bo celebrated their love surrounded by the sweeping mountain views that make this venue so magical. Though the day began with rain showers rolling across the valley, the skies cleared just in time for the ceremony, revealing a soft glow over the mountains that set the stage for the most beautiful celebration.
Lisa spent the morning getting ready in the charming Azalea Room with her bridesmaids by her side, sharing laughter and anticipation before heading to the StayCloud Hotel for portraits that perfectly captured her calm joy and bridal elegance. Meanwhile, Bo and his groomsmen enjoyed a relaxed morning in the resort’s Library, a cozy and classic setting for their getting-ready photos.
The ceremony took place at McLemore Lookout, where 77 of their closest friends and family gathered to witness the couple exchange heartfelt vows overlooking the breathtaking cliffs. Guests were met with a serene atmosphere, lush mountain greens, a soft breeze, and the unmistakable feeling that this was exactly how it was meant to be.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with a cocktail hour and reception beneath a clear-top tent, allowing guests to dine and dance under the open sky. The evening unfolded with a plated dinner service, thoughtful speeches, and live music by Velvet City Sound, who kept the dance floor full all night long.
In a special touch, Lisa asked guests to wear shades of green, creating the most stunning visual harmony as friends and family mingled among the natural hues of the mountain landscape. It was a reflection of Lisa’s impeccable eye for design, something that shone even brighter knowing she designed and created her own wedding florals. Her arrangements were romantic, organic, and full of texture, echoing the lush beauty of McLemore itself.
One of the evening’s sweetest surprises came in the form of a cake and cocktail pairing, featuring Bo’s favorite drink, a White Russian. Guests loved the thoughtful detail, and it became one of the most memorable highlights of the night.
As the sun dipped behind the mountains and the stars began to appear, Lisa and Bo danced beneath the twinkling lights of the tent, a perfect ending to a day that began with rain and ended in radiance.
Their wedding was more than a celebration. It was a reflection of grace, joy, and the magic that happens when love and nature come together on top of the mountain.
