If you’re searching for a Mclemore wedding planner, you’re likely drawn to the breathtaking views and elevated experience of Cloudland Lookout Mountain—but executing a seamless wedding here requires far more than a beautiful vision. It takes strategic planning, expert coordination, and a team that knows this venue inside and out.
There’s no denying it—Mclemore at Cloudland Lookout Mountain is one of the most breathtaking wedding destinations in the Southeast. With sweeping mountain views, multiple event spaces, and a luxury guest experience, it offers everything couples dream of. But what many don’t see behind the beauty is the level of precision required to execute a seamless wedding weekend here.
At Cue the Champagne, we don’t just plan weddings at Mclemore—we orchestrate full-scale, multi-day experiences with intention, strategy, and calm leadership.
Let’s take you behind the scenes.

A True Wedding Weekend Experience
Mclemore isn’t a single-event venue—it’s a layered wedding weekend. From rehearsal to send-off, every moment requires its own plan, team, and flow.
For this particular wedding weekend, events began with a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Pavilion, where 100 guests were hosted with a full dinner service, bar experience, and thoughtfully timed transitions into a high-energy welcome party.
The next day shifted entirely in both tone and logistics—moving guests to the Clubhouse Courtyard for a mountain-view ceremony, followed by cocktail hour and then a full reception transformation in the Cumberland Ballroom.
Each space at Mclemore operates independently, which means your planner must think holistically while executing in layers.

The Logistics Most Couples Don’t See
A Mclemore wedding is not just about design—it’s about timing, movement, and coordination across multiple environments.
On wedding day alone, vendor installation began as early as 10:00 AM, with planners, florals, rentals, lighting teams, and entertainment arriving in carefully staggered waves to avoid overlap and ensure efficiency.
Meanwhile, the ballroom had to be fully set and ready before guest arrival, including:
- Custom head table builds
- Lounge installations
- Dance floor placement
- Buffet and bar configurations
- Specialty moments like a candy shop display
All while a completely separate ceremony setup was happening across property.
This is where experience matters.

Timing is Everything at Mclemore
At a venue like this, your timeline isn’t just a schedule—it’s a production document.
For example:
- Ceremony begins precisely at 5:30 PM
- Cocktail hour transitions immediately at 6:00 PM
- Reception introductions begin at 7:15 PM
- Dinner service opens at 7:30 PM
- Private last dance and send-off are timed down to the minute
There is no room for guesswork. Every vendor, every transition, every guest movement must be anticipated in advance.
At Cue the Champagne, we build timelines that don’t just look good on paper—they function in real time, even when pivots happen.

Elevated Guest Experience (Done Right)
What makes Mclemore truly special is the guest experience—but it only works when executed with intention.
From tray-passed sparkling welcomes upon arrival to a fully hosted bar experience and curated dinner menus, every touchpoint is designed to feel effortless for guests.
Behind the scenes, that means:
- Managing bar service flow across multiple events
- Coordinating catering timing with speeches and transitions
- Ensuring guest comfort across indoor and outdoor spaces
- Planning for children’s meals, vendor meals, and private dining moments
These are the details that elevate a wedding—and they require a planner who knows how to manage them all simultaneously.

Why Cue the Champagne
Mclemore is not a venue you “figure out” on wedding day. It’s a venue that demands experience, relationships, and proactive planning.
We understand:
- How each space functions (and how to transform it)
- How to build timelines that support both beauty and logistics
- How to lead vendor teams through complex installations
- How to pivot with calm, confidence, and clarity
Most importantly, we know how to protect your experience—so you’re not thinking about timelines, logistics, or moving parts. You’re fully present.
Because at the end of the day, your wedding at Mclemore should feel as effortless as it looks.
And that’s exactly what we deliver.
