Today, April 21st, is John and Anna Claires wedding day! We asked our bride to share a bit about their relationship. So, please help us celebrate with and congratulate them!
A Bit from the Bride
We have both worked in kitchens professionally, so cooking meals together is one of our favorite ways to hang out. We also have fun playing Fortnite and Apex together, along with our friends! We enjoy cheering on the Tennessee Titans, and cuddling with our two fur babies Sluggo and Marceline (Marcy).
The Couple’s Timeline
- Anna Claire Pierce was born on October 30, 1996 in Chattanooga, TN.
- John Mattingly was born on September 22, 1993 in Franklin, TN.
- They first met each other while working as servers at Slick’s Burgers (Chattanooga, TN) in 2016.
- Their first date was at Mojo Burrito in St. Elmo.
- They became an official relationship on April 1st, 2017.
On November 6th, 2021, Anna Claire enjoyed a spa day with her mother. While going to the Art District for some after-spa cocktails, she was surprised to walk into a courtyard and find John waiting with her great-grandmother’s diamond ring. They returned to their home that night, where a surprise engagement party awaited them. It was a wonderful day!
