Q. What made you want to be involved in wedding planning/coordination?
A. Being a wedding planner is a fun, challenging, and sometimes stressful career. It is the huge smile on the bride’s face, the tears falling down the groom’s cheeks , the excitement generated from family and friends that make all the hard work and long hours of planning to ensure that two people have the happiest day of their lives worth it all.
Q. How long have you been working with CTC and wedding planning in general if you have prior experience?
A. I have been with CTC for about 9 months. I started playing the piano and singing for weddings when I was Fourteen years old. Back then, wedding coordinator’s were rarely used, if ever. So I ended up directing from my piano bench. I did this for 13 years. After having my son, I decided to take time off from doing weddings. Four years ago I decided to get back into coordinating. I have done several weddings solo as well as having been contracted out with other companies in the past. But working with the CTC Team is by far my favorite. Feels like home! A place where I can continue to learn and grow professionally.
Q. What is your favorite part of a wedding day?
A. It’s hard to say. I think the bride and groom tend to determine this for me based on their personalities. Some weddings, my favorite part may be the first dance. While other weddings it may be the script that they have chosen as a couple that reflects their lives and their future.
Q. If you could travel to one place in the world, free of charge, where would you go?
A. Italy! It just seems to me, from pictures, that it has to be one of the most romantic places on earth.
Cheers,
