This is just to name a few of the many items you can bring in to complete your wedding day experience. Rentals many times can be less expensive and make a lot of sense in those cases where the cost to purchase the item would far exceed the rental expense or in a case where you just do not want to spend the time after the wedding trying to re-sell your items to re-coup some of the expense.
Chairs, Tables, Tents and Dance Floors need to be setup and managed by individuals with experience and the manpower to be able to move, place , setup, and break down those items. Your rental company may deliver those items for you but setup and breakdown will be an additional add on cost if needed of anywhere from $300- $1000 depending on the logistics involved. So think about if the added cost is one you want to invest in or if you have reliable friends and family who can take on these tasks for you before and after the wedding .
Other rental items such as serve ware, chafing dishes and other catering supplies need to not only be broken down at the end of the night but they will have to be thoroughly cleaned immediately following in preparation for their return back to the rental company . So who will you delegate these tasks to ?
There are so many things to consider with rentals, you have to ensure everything is returned properly and accounted for as well as budget for delivery and setup fees in addition to delegating out specific tasks. So if this is a route you are still comfortable with taking on be sure to get started early and write down everything including a contingency plan for when things get sidetracked.
