What a beautiful summer day for a downtown Chattanooga wedding! Our team had the pleasure of working with Andy and Stephen on their big day at Waterhouse Pavilion in the heart of Chattanooga. This couple had so many beautiful elements to their day, it was hard to pick our favorite! Between the gorgeous tropical arbor executed by Fox and Fern Floral Design and the decorative white flower trees rented from Luma Designs, the day was any coordinator’s dream!
Our Grooms began their wedding day with their tribe and showed up to the venue later in the afternoon to get ready on site. This was the perfect way to begin their day as it fit right in with their casual wedding vibe. Before getting ready, however, of course they had to celebrate with some pre-wedding drinks!
Andy wore a beautiful dark gray suit with a green paisley patterned vest. His Maid of Honor and Groom’s Goddess stood by his side in deep purple floor length gown, making their combo the jewel toned dream. Stephen and his men looked dapper and sophisticated in their all black attire, with Stephen wearing a black vest with a similar paisley pattern to match his Husband to be.
The 100 or so guests began arriving around 6 for their 6:30 ceremony which was immediately followed by a dinner of a taco and nacho bar and every bar-hopper’s dream of a totally open bar- booth serviced by A Silverware Affair! While guests began eating, the Grooms shared their first dance to “I’ll Always Love you” by Taylor Dane which was followed by both Grooms sharing a dance with their mothers. Next was time to cut the cake and enjoy sweet treats from CupCake Kitchen.
There were also two very special performances that made the evening one guests would never forget- first was a drag performance by the incredible Fannie Mae Charles, who was then accompanied by Stephen for the performance of a lifetime! These were followed by the Grooms doing a bout’ toss for all the singles in attendance, then the dance floor was open and it was time to get down with the DJ from Scenic Event Solutions, Tyler Sanford.
The couple ended the night without a formal sendoff, and instead said their farewells and invited guests to keep the party going and bar hop the night away with them! We were so thankful to spend the day getting to enjoy this beautiful couple and learn about their love story! Thank you Andy and Stephen for letting us be a part of your day and congratulations again!
Cheers,
Kayley
