Each couple we get the pleasure of working with is unique and special to us in their own ways. However, for this wedding, we got to turn a wedding planner into the bride for the day and boy was her day amazing! Check out the recap below!
The wedding was held at The Venue Chattanooga and it was a gorgeous sunny day for an outdoor wedding. The florals were set up by May Flowers and featured greenery filled with pops of blue, burnt orange, pink and white. The outdoor fireplace set up was to die for, with two massive floral pieces on opposite sides and gorgeously filled with various sized white candles. The aisle was dressed up with tufts of greenery bunched together along the chairs, as seen below. Table décor included the same elements of colorful flowers, greenery and gold accents such as chargers, utensils and flower vases as well as candles galore.
As the day began, the bride tribe commenced the glam process with Makeup by Riley handling makeup and Bobby Pinning Brittany taking on the hair goals of each lady. The bridesmaids were all in 3 different colors that coordinated back to the florals incredibly well. Each wore either a sage green, dusty blue or soft pink dress, some with a floral appliques and some without. Our Bride, Maggie, wore an amazing satin A-line gown with an amazing plunging neckline and a cathedral veil with beautiful lace detailing. The back of her dress featured a beautiful satin bow that led into an opening featuring satin buttons down the entire length of the dress.
The groomsmen sported grey suits as the groom was dressed in blue in order to stand out against his guys. The groomsmen also had sage green ties while the groom was in a grey bow tie. These subtle differences among the group are a great way to ensure your groom stands out just like the bride does, but still look cohesive for photos! The day was captured by Alexis Dimmer Photography and Justin R. Films.
Post ceremony it was time to enjoy the incredible food from a Chattanooga favorite- Foodworks! Not only was the food amazing, but the dessert was too! The couple made sure to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth by having Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cart and cake from Reignbow Baking Company. They also shared a “first scoop” of ice cream as well as a “first bite” of their cake- another sweet twist on their day.
DJ-T3 had guests partying the night away and dancing like there was no tomorrow. If guests were not out on the dance floor, they got to entertain themselves with a 360 photo booth supplied by First Verse Productions! This was an incredibly fun and creative way to get guests involved and resulted in some awesome memories being made! The night was finished with the newlyweds exiting through a glow stick send off and into their new lives as husband and wife!
