Today I am bringing you a Wedding Venue Review on The Church on Main located in Chattanooga, Tennessee!
I know personally how hard it can be to find the perfect venue to suit your style,budget and logistical concerns for your wedding, after all just three years ago I planned my own Happily Ever After!
So I am here to point out Pro’s, Con’s and overall Perfectly Planned rating for The Church on Main
Pro’s
The Church on Main has owners as well as an onsite venue manager that oversee the day to day operations. Together their overall collaborative management efforts help to ensure that the venue is well kept and the contact is immediate and responsive. So as a couple or wedding professional you are sure to get the answers and concerns you have addressed right away!Cost
The Church on Main wedding venue rental pricing is very competitive. All inclusive pricing starting at $2150 to include tables and chairs is a great deal especially if your considering a venue that does not include your tables and chairs, you then have to consider the cost to rent them plus the added fees of delivery and once you have arranged all that plus the unwanted headache your stressed to the max and who wants to deal with that! Not only does the pricing includes all the core basics to have a wedding they have additional add on services such as linen rental, up-lighting for that perfect touch of ambiance and even decor rental! That’s right they have an every growing closest of decor items from candles, vases, lanterns, log slices and all sorts of unique pieces to save you tons of moola!
The Church on Main is located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga nearby are loads of pubs, hotels, boutique shops all easily accessible for guests who are traveling a distance to come celebrate your special wedding day. If you are thinking about choosing ceremony wedding venue Patten Chapel on UTC campus The Church on Main makes the perfect reception location with less than a 3 mile drive door to door for your wedding guests.
Con’s
Although, as a wedding coordinator I do not see this as a con I can see how a couple walking into this venue may not be able to see all the possibilities for their wedding day immediately upon first view of the space. The Church on Main offers many possibilities for setup whether it is for ceremony only, reception only, or both. One must also consider your unique wedding needs such as ” what will our guests do while the space is flipped” for some couples this may immediately be a turn off and say well this venue can not work to meet our needs when in actuality it can! Getting the most out of this venue and its many unique areas just requires team work and collaboration. When we work with couples that have chosen The Church on Main we work closely with The Church on Main’s venue manager ( as she knows first hand what will work and what will definitely not work in terms of logistics and setup) and we also partner with our couples caterer. It is a plus if your caterer has worked at the venue before and even better if your caterer is one of the Preferred Caterers as they really know how to get the most of the space. Through such collaborative efforts the space suits a variety of events with ease to incorporate cocktail hours complete with food, beverages, and games while your guests do not even realize how quickly the space is transformed. My first time doing a flip at The Church on Main it took all of five minutes for for 135 guests easy as sweet apple pie on a Sunday afternoon 🙂
