You will find your venue fee can get you a lot or a little. Venue rental times vary from as little as 3 hours to Full Weekend Rentals to accommodate out of town family and friends. You will also find that some venues include your tables and chairs as part of the venue fee while other venues leave you the option of customization by bringing in your own rental items which can mean added cost to your budget.
Caterers: $10.00- $55.00 pp (per person) Yes catering cost can vary quite a bit but that is because when it comes to what you serve your guests there is a lot of room for creating a menu that is simple to extravagent. On the simple end of the specturm guests may dine on a catered BBQ buffet style dinner while the more extravagent end may dine by plated dinner that gives your guests dining options that range from filet mignon to fresh seafood fare. When it comes to food cost it is all about how much you want to spend. A key thing to remember is that your reception cost is 50% of your budget so the numbers can add up rather quickly the larger number of guests you invite.
Photgraphy: $1200-$3000 Have you ever heard the term you get what you pay for? If so, that phrase has never applied more than it does right now. If you find a photgrapher that falls any lower than this price range you have a concern to be worried. You will only have your wedding day once and a picture is worth a thousand words. You don’t want to look back on your wedding day pictures and say I could have taken a better picture with my IPhone but instead we decided to be cheap and get a $300-600 photographer. Your pictures should tell a story and that story shouldn’t be Oh we didn’t have enough money for quality photos!
Entertainment $250- $3000 Entertainment is everything from musicians or performers participating in your wedding ceremony to the DJ or Live Band you will have to entertain your wedding guests at your reception is included in your entertainment cost. The lower end of the price range you will find is consistent for a violinst or harpist or even a duet or trio to play for your ceremony. The same is true for solo artist singers. Now when you get into live entertainment a Disc Jockey will fall in the middle range with a live band hitting the top end of this range. Again the key is you get what you pay for live entertainment is always much more interactive for your guests than hooking up the IPOD player and surely beats the time it takes to create a 6 hour long playlist.
