I know with vendor consultations and maintaining a good work life balance things can get busy pretty quickly. However, I do want to offer you some honest candid advice that you need to be sure to use in planning your wedding.
As you meet with potential vendors over the phone or in person you will be amazed at all the many decisions you will be faced with as you pick your menu items, linens, bridal party attire, cake flavors and so much more. Once all the details are finalized it is important for you to discuss with your vendors upfront, meaning long before wedding day or when final payments are due to actually get an itemized invoice and find out exactly what you are paying for. Sometimes during an initial consultation with a vendor you may be quoted a starting rate or base rate but by time your done customizing your wedding plans your final bill is no where near what you thought it would be when you initially sat down with the vendor and began the planning process. Also some times you will find that you may choose a package or service that is a standard and you are quoted one price but when the final bill is emailed over to you there are taxes, service fees, or even mandatory gratuity charges added which you did not account for in your original budget. The best way to overcome such challenges is when meeting with wedding professional ask them is the amount their quoting you the ” all inclusive” price, meaning this is it, no added surprises later. Part of being Perfectly Planned is being a Perfectly Informed Consumer!
I hope this helps my lovies. Until next time…
Be Perfectly Planned,
Shaun
